Practice Day - Monday, Wednesday & Friday 3:30 - 5:00pm
The EPHS JROTC Drill Team is a marching unit that performs routines based on military drill. 
Cadets can perform either armed or unarmed drill during competitive drill competitions. Our Armed and Unarmed Drill Teams hold several State Championships, and over 60 National Titles, with four Overall National Championships.

​​Aero Club

Season : November - March

Cost: No additional cost

Practice Days : Friday / 3:30 - 5:00pm
Aviation is one of the fastest-growing careers in the nation. One of the first steps towards an exciting career in aviation is to take advantage of our Aero Club, where cadets will learn the fundamentals of flight while learning to fly on the fight simulator.  Cadets can use the flight simulator hours to apply for the JROTC Flight Academy Scholarship program, where they can receive their private pilots license.

Drone/Multicopter Club

Season : February - March
Cost: No additional cost
Practice Days : Tuesday & Friday / 3:30 - 4:30pm

Cadets will construct and fly radio-controlled planes as well as learn to operate multicopters (drones). Not only will cadets learn how to fly quadcopters, but will be required to understand and adhere to FAA safety guidelines required to fly one. 

Kitty Hawk 

Season : All School Year

Cost: No additional cost

Tutoring : Scheduled as needed

This is the official AFJROTC and National Honor's Society. Cadets will be selected based on GPA and the ability to work with others. It strives to promote high academic standards, service to the school and community, promote initiative and self-confidence, develop leadership skills, promote academic excellence, encourage educational development after high school, and further the Air Force's role in aerospace education. 

Rocketry Program 

Season : January - March

Cost: No additional cost

Practice Day : Monday & Friday / 7:45 - 8:20am
Design, build, fly and recover small rockets that are made of paper, plastic, balsa wood, or other lightweight material. An exciting introduction into aerospace engineering, design, and basic concepts of flight and space.

AFJROTC Marksmanship Program

Season : November - March

Cost: TBD

Practice Days : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday / 3:30pm - 5:30pm

This special team consists of more individualized competitions and individual growth. It focuses on patience, focus and control. Cadets are trained how to properly handle and shoot a pellet rifle as well as the 3 positions for shooting, breath control, and gun safety measures.
